With a diverse body of work that encompasses both the fine art world as well as consumer product development, Jophen brings a keen eye and unique aesthetic that is at times representational, surreal, and abstract, with a sharp consistency in style and technique.

Professionally, Jophen’s illustrations and art direction have been used to bring to life animated characters and backgrounds in mobile gaming titles; his designs have also manifested in the real world as murals, displays and signage for major retailers.

His fine art has shown in galleries both in the US and abroad; these personal works are narrative in scope with a variety of subjects and motifs presented – with underlying themes that concern the correlation between antiquity and modernity, with an emphasis on the absurd.
